Most combo block videos teach the initial technique but stop there. How to use it in practice

Set up the drill with a center-guard or guard-tackle pair working combination blocks against a linebacker who varies his reaction each rep. Start with the LB declaring early, then progress to game speed reads. Focus the teaching on hip relationship and when the second blocker releases to climb — the decision point most young linemen miss.
